Hi David, yes I've seen that mix up lol, and ir is even more entertaining that the table has a painting of Heny VIII on it. The opera sounds splendid. I would love to hear it one day. Blessings and best wishes.
We were laughing this week because we frequently see articles about King Alfred accompanied by images of the round table in The Great Hall in Winchester 😂 One of my ancestors wrote an opera, Guinevere, which received its premiere at the Kilburn Town Hall in, I think, the 1890s. It was never performed again, but I have inherited the score. Maybe there will be a revival one day! 🙌😂🎶
The details on Neuschwanstein were not known to me and loved the extra info. I always find it funny that no matter which time you discus King Arthur always has kept his relevancy. Especially now with the last medieval revival.
Another lovely article, Vincent. Long live King Arthur!
Thank you Hannah, really kind. He sleeps on an Avalaon.
What a lovely piece!
I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks for taking the time to read it.
